Meet the most famous residents of Edinburgh Zoo with our exclusive Penguin Magic Moment. Enjoy the opportunity to get up close as you feed our Gentoo penguins their favourite fish, as well as discovering how we identify each individual and learning about these unique birds.

Please note, if you are looking for a specific date for your experience, contact us before purchasing any vouchers. We require at least seven days' notice for any bookings.

Essential information:

  • Vouchers have a one year expiry date unless stated otherwise.
  • Max three people per experience (please note one voucher is required per person).
  • We run the Penguin Magic Moment every day at 2pm, depending on availability.
  • This expire lasts around thirty minutes.
  • Price is per person and includes the participant's admission to Edinburgh Zoo.
  • Keeper Experience vouchers are strictly non-refundable.
  • All orders are issued as e-vouchers, aligning with our commitment to reduce paper usage and aid environmental conservation. We aim to dispatch all e-vouchers within two business days.
    Your e-voucher includes instructions on how to book your Keeper Experience.

Restrictions:

  • This experience is available for participants aged 12 years and over only.
  • Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an observing adult who will be required to pay adult admission cost.
  • Please note, the accompanying adult may be required to go behind the scenes during the experience with the participant and it is therefore not suitable for the accompanying adult to be supervising another non-participating child.
  • Please note - due to ongoing Avian Flu precautions additional safety measures are in place. 

Regrettably, our Keeper Experiences are not suitable for certain guests including those with any relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this may not always be possible.
