This highly anticipated experience will bring you closer than ever before to our red panda! You will be guided by one of our expert keepers and meet Priya, who joined us at the park in March 2026. Together, you'll give her a tasty treat and hear all about her behaviours and lifestyle. 

Participant admission is included within your experience, so you can end your day with a full day of adventure as you explore Highland Wildlife Park at your own pace.

Please note, if you are looking for a specific date for your experience, contact us before purchasing any vouchers. We require at least seven days' notice for any bookings.

Essential information:

  • Vouchers have a one year expiry date unless stated otherwise. We advise enquiring for specific dates as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
  • Max two people per experience (please note one voucher is required per person).
  • We run this experience once a day on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Please contact us at hwp-keeperexperiences@rzss.org.uk to enquire about availability and to book a date.
  • This experience lasts around thirty minutes.
  • Price is per person and includes the participant's admission to Highland Wildlife Park.
  • Keeper Experience vouchers are strictly non-refundable.
  • All orders are issued as e-vouchers, aligning with our commitment to reduce paper usage and aid environmental conservation. Vouchers will be available to download immediately after purchase.
    Your e-voucher includes instructions on how to book your Keeper Experience. 

Restrictions:

  • This experience is available for participants aged eight and over.
  • Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an observing adult who will be required to pay adult zoo admission cost.
  • Please note the accompanying adult may be required to go behind the scenes during the experience with the participant and it is therefore not suitable for the accompanying adult to be supervising another non-participating child.


Regrettably, our Keeper Experiences are not suitable for certain guests including those with any relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant, and immunocompromised individuals. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this may not always be possible.
